01Aperture Lounge
MAY 2024 - PRESENT · LONDON
A boutique headshot studio for actors and performers in London, built around my co-founder’s photography. People tense up on camera in rushed, impersonal studios, so we built a relaxed, welcoming space where they could settle in before the shoot.

Aperture Lounge grew into Aperture Beauty Production. Same studio, different brand, different audience.

MAY 2025 - PRESENT · LONDON
A London beauty production and content studio, built around my co-founder’s photography and model casting. Makeup artists need campaign-style images to win campaign work, but rarely get them without it. So we shoot those images for their portfolios, with everything in one booking.
Our first service lane: event hosts bring the idea, and we bring the models, studio and filming. Proven at Charlotte Tilbury's Covent Garden, Carnaby Street and Stratford stores, where independent educators run masterclasses. My co-founder handles clients, casting and photography.

Our second service lane: portfolio production days for beauty schools, free for the school, hands-off for staff and guided for students. On the day, I plan and shoot every recap video myself, then take it through the full edit. Multi-day, an entire cohort per location. My co-founder runs the Brushstroke relationship, casts, directs and photographs.

Our third service lane, and the one I built end-to-end: model, studio and photographer in a single booking, sold through paid ads and a fully automated funnel from first click to confirmation. Casting and photography sit with my co-founder.

Beyond making the ad, I ran the Instagram campaign behind it: setting the budget, choosing the audience and tracking every lead into the funnel.
I designed and wrote the page myself, built to turn a cold click into a booked session.
A fully automated booking and payment flow I designed and built, so a session could be secured without a single manual step.
Automated from the moment payment clears. Model preferences go straight to my co-founder, who shortlists options for the client.
I shoot behind-the-scenes throughout, cinema rig and phone in parallel, while my co-founder directs and photographs the session itself.
I compose the delivery email. Retouching and the final images themselves are my co-founder's.
