Pencil became digital
I began with drawing, then design, then video. What interests me is where they meet: drawing informing design, design informing motion, and image, sound and timing combining into something none could do alone.
Skateboarding shaped me
SKATE SHOP & SKATEPARKI was the digital media designer for Prime Delux Skate Shop: product posts, YouTube edits and every graphic in between, growing their Instagram from ~4K to 10K.
COACHING BUSINESSThe skatepark ran group sessions for kids, but nothing for anyone who wanted proper one-to-one lessons. So I pitched a tuition programme to the park and ran it myself: built and taught the syllabus, handled the marketing, and designed the media that sold it.
SKATEBOARD GB CERTIFIEDIt grew successfully enough that Plymouth City Council funded me through Skateboard GB's nationally recognised coaching qualification.
This work got me my first job in London. I no longer work in skateboarding, but it's still a source of inspiration, relationships and fuel for life.
